Looking for the "one answer" when it comes to health and fitness, you might start with your diet. We eat 4-8 times a day, and most of that food is made up of chemicals. Those chemicals are nothing other than drugs, i.e. sugar, and we are getting addicted to that substance. It is in everything! I say give this, or any other Paloe "diet", a try for a minimum of 7 weeks and you will be impressed with the outcome. You will feel better, look better, and have the energy you once had. Then, if you dare, add on a fitness challenge, and you'll see even more improvements. Being healthy isn't just about working out, it's a holistic approach that requires mental release/exercise, diet, and physical activity. There are many things you can do to improve your fitness level, but the point is you need to do them and do them often. Thank you Lurong Living, I will be a lifelong advocate.

When I started this Challenge I thought meeting the food requirements was going to be the hardest part, however, I learned what I could and couldn't eat and what worked for me. I tried new recipes and ate veggies that I previously refused to eat. I found myself full and amazed at times at how much I could eat and not feel lacking. The workouts were challenging but nothing I couldn't do, unlike some other programs. It felt good to re-test at the end of the Challenge and crush the workouts the second time around. In the end, I have lost weight and inches and feel better! I realized my goal with this Challenge. I plan on continuing the program in the future and look forward to the next Challenge.

In reflecting on the experience of the Lurong Living Nutrition Challenge, there are so many positives that I can describe - the tasty new recipes, the elimination of chemicals in the food I eat, the new habit of eating vegetables with breakfast, and the ability to splurge at events, such as weddings or on vacation, and being able to bounce back into the weight loss journey. However, the main outcome of this adventure is that this has easily transitioned into a lifestyle change and I will attain my weight loss goal by the end of 2017. There is a saying by John Foster Dulles that I knew some day would come true: "The measure of success is not whether or not you have a tough problem to deal with, but whether it's the same problem you had last year." 2017 is the last year I will have to deal with a weight issue. The Summertime Challenge was amazing. The new platform is simple to use and our athletes loved it. The whole challenge went very smooth and the workouts were awesome. I was very consistent with my meal plans and training all 5 weeks. My weight came down 5 lbs. yet my body fat percentage dropped 2 percent with 1 lb. of lean muscle being added. Perfect for the summer.  I can't wait for the Championship Challenge next. I'll continue to recommend our athletes take part in this challenge all year round. Lurong Living Rocks!!!
